Our Mission At CreateFit

At the core of CreateFit, our mission is to empower individuals to create their own fitness journey. We believe in the CrossFit methodology as a powerful tool for achieving true health, both physically and mentally. Our dedicated coaches are committed to guiding you through every workout, offering personalised support, and fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome.

At CreateFit, we’re more than just a fitness facility – we’re a community of individuals dedicated to transforming lives through the power of CrossFit. Our story began with a simple yet powerful belief: that fitness should be challenging, rewarding, fun, and most importantly, a journey that brings people together.

Jorge

Coach

Jorge is a CrossFit OG! He started exercising to get in shape and release stress while finishing his studies as a musician but soon got hooked on the discipline and switched his career to a full CrossFit coach where he has coached athletes of all levels.

Jorge comes with a wealth of experience from competing at the elite level. He has competed in two CrossFit regionals and went to another two as a coach. Jorge worked as head coach for 4 years for Liga Interbox National CrossFit Competition, which hosted athletes from different countries across Latin America.

Jenna

Coach

Jenna has a background in gymnastics and over 10 years of coaching experience. She has spent much of my career studying human movement and biomechanics and as well as being an expert coach she is also a physiotherapist.

Jenna is very passionate about developing inclusive and accessible mainstream programs. She loves teaching bodyweight and barbell movements and helping people find ways to move more efficiently.

Jenna has competed at elite-level competitions, including Sanctionals (the Down Under Championship and Asia CrossFit Championships) as well as the Torian Pro. She also got a love for weightlifting, has represented Victoria at Nationals, and was the 2019 state champion in the 59kg weight class.

After competing in spartan races, I came across CrossFit. How you ask…One weekend had a lot to drink and was hungover in bed and scrolling through Netflix and stumbled across some old CrossFit documentaries.. watched all of them and became obsessed and signed up at a CrossFit gym. That was 7 years ago!

I was genuinely amazed at what people could do so I wanted to try it. I got so obsessed with the training style, I decided to become a coach and have been coaching 4 years now. As well as Crossfit, I have programmed teen strength and conditioning, helping them gain strength for their sport. Worked with various other sports, and specialise in coaching Olympic Weightlifting.

I competed in powerlifting and Olympic Weightlifting before diving into the world of Crossfit. Where I have competed as both an individual and in a team.

After discovering Crossfit 4/5 years ago I went ALL-IN! Including becoming a coach. I attained BWL L2, Crossfit Gymnastics, and Crossfit L2 qualifications.

My aim is to give people the best hour of their day, and help them realise their full potential!

With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Cam is the brains behind the CreateFit programming and brings his passion for the sport of Crossfit to every single class that he coaches.

With a Master’s in Strength & Conditioning, Cam’s focus is on helping our community become to strongest, fittest versions of themselves by providing expert coaching.

Heather

Heather’s discovered her passion for CrossFit and nutrition while making positive changes to her own life while working in a demanding corporate job.

Heather will take an holistic approach to your health and fitness journey, combining good eating habits, exercise and recovery, all while having a lot of fun on the way.

If you are wanting to take those first steps to improving your health and fitness, then Heather is there to guide and support you every step of the way.
Heather loves coffee and a sweaty workout so you’ll find her buzzing around the gym most times of the day.

Simon

Owner & Coach

A newly minted coach and token bald guy, Simon fits into the team to support our coaches and members wherever he can. He has a lifetime of experience as a competitive athlete and coach across a range of sports including triathlon, cycling, sailing and kitesurfing. He is also a regular competitor on the Masters circuit.

If you are a Masters athlete, Simon will help you develop training methods that take into account the very different requirements of ageing bodies to keep you in good shape and driving peak performance.

Simon loves a good dad joke and enjoys banter during a WOD almost as much as a sprint workout combining a barbell and gymnastics. His irreverent sense of humour will keep your workouts fun even when they hurt.
